Film students visit Arri Rental Prague

Recently, our IB Film students had a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit Arri Rental Prague, the leading provider of cutting-edge camera and lighting equipment for the film industry. This practical experience gave them an opportunity to try professional equipment and gave them an insight into the tools that are used in the top film production industries around the whole wide world.

While visiting, the students met a big range of experts from their field who shared their knowledge about the latest technology and techniques - from advanced camera systems to specialized lighting constructions. They also found out about the difficulties of manipulations with the equipment and the importance of the technical knowledge needed for successful film projects.

The trip was a worthwhile addition to their studies so far and helped them connect the theoretical knowledge to the practical requirements of film production. The trip not only inspired them but also deepened their understanding of the cameraman work and technology which stands behind the art of film production that prepared them well for the future projects.
