Our School is Part of the eduroam Network

Our school has officially become a part of the international eduroam network. This will significantly simplify your internet connection both at school and beyond.

What is eduroam?

eduroam (short for education roaming) is a globally distributed network that allows students, teachers, and staff of academic institutions to get wireless internet access (Wi-Fi). Anywhere in the world where the eduroam network is available, you can connect using the same username and password that you use at our school.

What are the benefits for you?

Simplicity and Convenience: You only set up the connection once, and then you automatically connect at any institution that is part of eduroam (there are thousands of them worldwide).

Security: eduroam uses modern encryption, which ensures a high level of protection for your data during transmission. It is much safer than using unencrypted public Wi-Fi networks.

Wide Availability: You can find eduroam at universities, research institutions, libraries, and even at some railway stations and public places in the Czech Republic and abroad.

How to Connect?

To connect to the eduroam network, you need a username in the format of an email address (often called an eduroam identity) and a password that was assigned to you by our school.

Students and Teachers: Your eduroam identity and password are the same as those you use to log into your school email.

Identity Format: Your username must always be in the full format, including the domain. (The domain suffix is crucial for proper authentication).

ℹ️ Tip: We recommend using the eduroam CAT (Configuration Assistant Tool) installer, available on the official eduroam.cz website, which will automatically configure your device for a seamless connection.
